About

Our Mission

The Equi Institute’s mission is to empower and improve the health of the LGBTQQI2S communities of the Pacific Northwest. We provide services and programs through a community health clinic.

The basis of a good doctor patient relationship is mutual respect and trust. We trust our patients to make the choices they need to make for themselves, and respect those choices.  To facilitate these good relationships, all providers and staff employed or volunteering at The Equi Institute will be trained in the philosophy and practical application of the theories of Health at Every Size, Racial Justice, Economic Equality, and Non-Violent Communication, with a focus on community advocacy, education, and positive sociocultural change.

We look forward to serving and collaborating with you!

Angela M Carter, ND
Board Chair and Clinical Director
